Arguably the grandest and most traditionally distinctive building in Bahrain is the Ahmed Al Fateh Mosque (commonly referred to as the Grand Mosque). It covers an area of 150,000 m2, it has a 22 meters diameter dome and two 70 meters tall minarets. Constructed by the internationally recognized company C.C.I.C. which began in December 1983 and for such an important iconic structure, they chose Haji Hassan Readymix as their supplier.
