The Sheikh Isa Bin Salman causeway connects North Muharraq with the Diplomatic Area in the Northern part of Manama. The design of the bridge with two sail-like structures was chosen to depict Bahrain’s traditional pearl diving culture.

In association with Archirodon, who were responsible for the construction of the 260 meters long cable stay bridge and dredging works, Bahrain Asphalt constructed the 2.5 km dual three lane highway.
