Zinj Trunk Sewer Project
The Zinj Trunk Sewer Project involves constructing and upgrading sewerage infrastructure to enhance the wastewater management system, the scope include:
• Micro-Tunneling & Open Trench Works
– Installation of pipelines using micro-tunneling technology for minimal surface disruption, Pipe diameters range from DN1350 to DN2000 with significant lengths.
– Open Trench Works around 600m for different sizes.
• Construction of Manholes and Shafts:
– Deep shafts constructed via secant pile walls with depths ranging from 17 to 20 meters.
– Connection of new pipelines to existing manholes and other sewer networks.
• Over pumping & Decommissioning of Existing Pumping Stations:
– Temporary bypass systems to manage sewage flow during construction.
– Decommissioning of Five (5) major sewerage pumping stations.
Bahrain Blocks, a subsidiary of Haji Hassan Group, supplied paving blocks for the Zinj Trunk Sewer project. These paving blocks were used for surface enhancements, providing durability and support while meeting the specific requirements of the project.
Haji Hassan Reinforcements supplied high-strength steel for the Zinj Trunk Sewer project, ensuring structural stability and support. Our steel met the highest standards, contributing to the safety and long-term durability of the infrastructure.
Haji Hassan Readymix supplied high-quality concrete for the Zinj Trunk Sewer project along the westbound Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Highway. Our reliable and durable concrete played a key role in supporting the installation of the 2,000mm diameter trenchless gravity sewer pipes and the ongoing deep shaft construction.
